Tavonya's Wedding

On May 27, 2006, my sister Tavonya Banks married her long time love Antonio Strobridge. My sister Tavonya is also a real estate agent specializing in residential sales and Antonia is a SWAT officer for the Dekalb County police department. And he looks like it! You don't want to mess with him. As you can see, she is stunningly beautiful and quite "tickled" to be a bride. Her wedding was a very beautiful event. I have many more photos but did not take them with a digital camera and is not so PC savvy as to get them all on here in a viewable fashion. I scanned my two favorites. The one with she and I is my most favorite as it means more to me than anyone could ever know. Antonio was cut out of the other photo (I'm a lousy photographer) but doesn't Tavonya look fabulous--it's about the bride anywayz right? LOL! (just jiving). But he is very handsome very daper. Anthonio appears to be a good match for my sister as well. He strikes me to be a bit like my dad--the consummate provider and protector. Maybe him being a police officer lends me to think about him in that way. For I really don't know him at all, but what I've observed he's a cool brother who can hold down a household and satisfy my sister.

Now Kyn and Kyrsten were the flower girls. Jordan was a daper escort and Jaden was just a cute spectator along with me and my great friend Marlene. Rhonda was the maid of honor and my lil sister Rosina was a bridesmaid. My extremely handsome brothers Bryan and Christen were groomsmen. We are all looking forward to the day when they get over their cold stinky feet and "gon marry dey baby mamas" (just jiving). Also, it was a gorgeous blue sky day but it was HOOOOTTTT as Sheol out there! Whew! My armpits are getting wet just thinking about that day! Sheol is another name for hell in the Bible. I quit cussin so I thought I'd enlarge your vocabulary. Reading is fundamental. Plus I don't want to cause anybody to stumble by saying the word hell. But it was hot enough to make somebody cuss! LOL Somebody cussed that day! LOL!

The venue was breath taking. A princess minded girl like me was really feeling the landscape and the castle like ediface that housed all the festivities. The reception was lovely--got my dance on a little sumthing. Da Electric slide and all! It was a cool time. My dad was there looking very daper with his beaming wife. It was good to be there with all the family! I'm am equally excited for Tavonya and Antonio's future. I'm waiting to hear of a bun being in the oven soon. I pray God's presence be with them. Tavonya is 33 years old (will be 34 Jan. 4) See a couple photos below :
